National Youth Day 2018, Narainpur

On the occasion of “National Youth Day” Celebration, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narainpur arranged a colourful procession and cultural programme.

The procession was flagged off at 6.30 am from Sri Ramakrishna Temple after puja and Aarti of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Maa and Sri Swamiji. The procession led by a school band comprised of more than 10,000 youth from 70 various Schools in and around Narainpur. There were three different tableau for Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Maa and Sri Swamiji and one more tableau in which 25 class students of class 7  decorated as Swami Vivekananda. The procession returned back to Ashrama at 9.00 am. Then breakfast served to all the students participated in the procession.

A special competition on cultural programme was also organized at 10 am. The programme started with Lighting of Lamp amidst Vedic Chanting. The chief guest was Sri Topeswar Verma, Collector,Narainpur District. Other guest were Sri Santosh Singh, Police Superintendent, Narainpur, Sri Ashok Chobe, C.O. Zila Panchayat, Narainpur and Sri Devesh Prasad, DEO, Narainpur. The welcome address was given by Class 11th Student Ku. Monika Sahu besides welcome song was presented by group of our class 11th students.

Sri Topeswar Verma, the Chief Guest and Sri Santosh Singh addressed the audience. Swami Vyaptananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Narainpur, delivered the key note address. The vote of thanks was presented by Ku. Manisha Salam, student class 11th.

After the cultural programme at 12.30 pm lunch (Noon Prasad) served to all the students and teachers.
