Medical Relief Camp
On Sunday, September 15, 2024, the Ramakrishna Clinic of South Africa – Phoenix organized a large-scale multi-specialty Medical Camp in Tongaat, Durban. The camp ran from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM and featured a team of 46 medical specialists and 80 support staff.
Medical disciplines offered included internal medicine, rheumatology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, dentistry, and more. The camp also provided diagnostic services such as ultrasonography, electrocardiography (ECG), and laboratory testing. A total of 2,000 consultations were conducted, and all services, including pharmaceutical products and glasses, were provided free of charge.
Additional Medical Relief Efforts
In September 2024, the Phoenix Clinic also conducted 2,823 consultations and distributed one walking aid and five hearing aids to those in need. These efforts further highlight the Clinic’s commitment to providing comprehensive medical care and support to the community.
Relief Services:
The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, Phoenix, along with its Johannesburg Sub-Centre, conducted a distress relief program in September 2024. The program provided essential items to 225 families.
