Swami Tyaganandaji Maharaj of Boston centre visited Chandigarh Ashrama and delivered an illuminating talk on Four Simple Exercises, on 26 January 2017.
Swami Tyagananda at ChandigarhSwami Tyaganandaji is delivering a talk on four exercises, to the devotees at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Chandigarh. (Jan 2017)
So beautiful. I ask Sri Thakur , Ma and Swamijis’s bless so that I can exercise those 4 things in my life.
People should understand that our Ramakrishna Swamis speak from the peak of realization. They have realised it in practice and they are living it.Acharyavan devo bhava.WE learn from our Acharyas by their acharan.People often tend to to say “its time to rectify the Vedas”. We must see to it we cannot either rectify the Vedas nor the swamis who are living example of the vedas. So to say ,anything spoken by our gur /swamis are authentic and become a pramana.
Pronam Maharaj ji. Thank you for imparting such simple lessons of lives thus making it more blissful and enriched. Will always remember them in our everyday lives and feel more stronger and closer to Almighty.
Joi Thakur, Joi Maa, Joi Swamiji.

Pranam Maharaj ji,
Thanks for summerising everything AS::
FORGET the good WE have done
FORGET the bad others have done to US
REMEMBER that nothing is constant
REMEMBER that GOD is with US always
At the feet of the LORD
Very simple but great truths, to practice one need lot of determination.if could practice daily life will be a celebration
It is very nice the way Devotee Jarna gosh has written down the 4 points of mhjs speech,I too hv copied that to read daily.Pranams Jai Maa
Thank you Swamiji Maharaj! It was a great honour and pleasure to listen your speech on “The Four Exercises”! It is simple and yet so educational! If we only try to remember them in our every day to day lives then as you said we shall see the difference in our earthly lives.
I was not in Chandigarh, I was in Brampton, Canada and found it in the Website of Belur math!
I wrote those exercises in a paper and reading them in the morning.
1) Do Not Expect anything from anybody, as expectedness brings sorrow in our lives.
2) Try to forgive people even if they does wrong to you (very hard, but can be practised with eagerness)
3) Everything is transitory in live. Hold on to the thought that we will die one day even if we do not plan for it.
4) One truth that God is always there for us. And God is in everybody. So when we meet anybody, young or old, we should treat them with respect and love regardless their cast and where they are from. Do the best and do not worry for the result, let the things take its own course.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart Swamiji!
Jai Sri Ramakrishna, Ma Sarada Devi and Swamiji Maharaj!
