1000th Birth Year of Sri Ramanuja was jointly celebrated by Ramakrishna Math, Chennai and Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, on 10th August 2017 at Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet.
The commemoration was in the form of the release of a new book ‘Life of Sri Ramanuja’ by Swami Ramakrishnananda, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna.
Hon’ble Justice Smt. Indira Banerjee, chief justice of Madras High Court, participated as the chief guest of the function. The celebration ended with a drama on Sri Ramanuja staged by professional artists.
