In Commemoration of the 125th Anniversary Celebrations of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses, Ramakrishna Mission, Kadapa, conducted several programs from 9 September to 11 September 2018.
53,000 nos. of “Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses” books were distributed in schools and colleges of Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittor, Anantapur, parts of Prakasam and Nellore Districts and conducted written exams.
Rs. 1,00,000/- worth books(each Rs. 200/-). were distributed as Prizes in nearly 500 schools and colleges.
On 9 September 2018, a special Antaryoga for devotees was conducted. Nearly 250 devotees participated in the programme. Swami Sukhatmananda, Swami Yadunathananda, Dr. K. Subrahmanyam participated in the programme.
On 10 September 2018 “Personality development Training” for High school students was conducted. Nearly 400 students and teachers participated in the programme. Sri G. Srinivas, Principal District Judge, Kadapa inaugurated the programme. Sri Vishnu Prasad Reddy, Chairman, Lokadalat was the guest speaker.
Elocution competition was conducted and Prizes worth Rs. 15,000/- were distributed to the Winners.
On 11 September 2018, a huge procession involving college youth was conducted in the Kadapa city. Nearly 600 college youth participated. Swami Vivekananda’s Ratham (chariot)and other vehicles were part of the rally. Sri G. Srinivas, Principal District Judge, Kadapa, Flag off the programme.
After the rally Youth Convention was conducted in the Mission center.
Elocution competition was conducted for the college youth and Prizes worth Rs. 21,000/- were given to the winners.
