Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Malda celebrated the 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses.
The following programmes were undertaken by the Ashrama in September 2018:
a) Procession of students of schools and colleges, devotees and Government officials of the Secondary Education Department, Malda (total 900 people) on 11 September 2018.
b) Poster Drawing, Essay Writing, Debate and Quiz Competitions [at the District Level] were organised by the Ashrama in collaboration with D.I. of Schools (Secondary Education), Malda.
c) A Seminar on ‘Impact of the Historic Lecture of Swami Vivekananda in Modern Age’ was organized on 13 September 2018. The Vice Chancellor, University of Gour Banga, the District Magistrate, Malda and others were the speakers for the seminar.
Prize were distributed for the district level competitions on 13 September 2018.
