In commemoration of 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses, a Youth Convention was organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Belagavi on 27 September 2019.
950 college students participated in the event. Swami Mangalanathananda from Bangalore Math and Sri Sharad Vivek Sagar, a Young Global Entrepreneur addressed the students on Swamiji’s message of Man –Making Education and Leadership.
In commemoration of 127th Aniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s visit to Belagavi from October 16 to 27, 1892, Belagavi centre organised the following programmes between 16th and 27 October 2019:
On 16 October 2019, Two Satsangs (Morning & Evening) were organised at Swami Vivekananda Memorial (sub-centre of the Ashrama), the place where Swamiji stayed for the first 3 days of his visit to Belagavi.
On 19 October 2019, a Youth Convention was organised at Swami Vivekananda Memorial for Medical and Engineering students, in which 600 students participated.
On 20 October 2019, a Bhakta Sammelana was organised at Swami Vivekananda Memorial for the general public, in which 350 devotees participated.
Satsangs (bhajans & talks) for the public at 8 different locations of Belagavi City were organised between 17 and 26 October 2019, in which around 800 people participated.
