In commemoration of the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses, Ramakrishna Mission, Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu Power lifting Association jointly conducted a Tamil Nadu State 1st Inter Collegiate Power lifting Championship for Men on 16 December 2018.
The competitions were conducted in the following weight categories 53 Kg, 59 Kg, 66 Kg, 74 Kg, 83 Kg, 93 Kg, 105 Kg, 120 Kg, and 120+Kg. 122 power lifters participated from 32 colleges all over Tamil Nadu. Sri C. Arivalagan, PSG College of Arts and Science College secured Strong man of the Tournament award.
