On the occasion of Sister Nivedita’s 150th Birth Anniversary, Ramakrishna Math (Yogodyan), with the active support and enthusiastic participation of monks, employees and devotees conducted a ‘Ratha Yatra’ & ‘Yuva Sammelan’ which was organized by Srirampur Vivekananda Ashrama, Khanakul on 9 January 2017 & 10 January, 2017 respectively.
The grand and spectacular procession for ‘Ratha Yatra’ on 9 January, 2017 was attended by more than 3000 (Three thousand) Youths.
On 10 January, 2017 the ‘Yuva Sammelan’ which was organized by Srirampur Vivekananda Ashrama, Khanakul and attended by about 500 students. This was held to imbibe in the students a spirit of sacrifice and patriotism in line with Sister Nivedita’s teachings. Swami Amalatmananda, Adhyaksha, delivered a lecture on the life and teachings of Sister Nivedita.
