On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of Ramakrishna Mission, a Youth Convention was organised by Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip on 10 September 2023, Sunday at the conference hall of Nabadwip Jatiya Vidyalaya School for Boys where 203 youths were present.
The objective was to propagate the ideas of Swami Vivekananda and ideals of the Ramakrishna Mission among the youths. The discussion revolved around how Ramakrishna Mission has inspired youths to become better individuals over its 125 years of rich history of nation building. Youths presented songs, speeches, and experiences, and there was also a question-answer session.
Swami Mahaprajnananda, Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandir, Belur Math was present as the key-note speaker along with Professor Arijit Sarkar, M.C.K.V. Institute of Engineering, Liluah, Howrah.
Swami Amareshwarananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip; Dr. Siharan Chakraborty, President, Ramakrishna Mission Nabadwip; Sri Madan Mohan Mandal, Headmaster, Nabadwip Jatiya Vidyalaya, and other distinguished individuals were present in the convention.
Sri Sabyasachi Mondal, Vice President of Nabadwip Centre gave Vote of Thanks.
Sri Sandip Pal, Asst. Secretary of Nabadwip Centre anchored the convention.
On this occasion scholarships were distributed among five underprivileged girl students, which they will receive throughout the year.
The youth convention left a good impact over the youths present.
