Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (Ekalavya Model Residential School), Jhargram, West Bengal, emerged as champions in the Inter-EMRS State Level Sports Meet held on 15 & 16 December 2023 at Jhargram by winning 25 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze medals.
The U-19 Girls team emerged winners in Kho Kho and Kabadi and runners-up in Football.
27 students in athletics and another 27 students in team sports will represent West Bengal in the All EMRS National Sports Meet scheduled to be held at Mysuru from 8th to 12th January 2024.
Almost 80% of the State contingent consists of students from the school.
