Sri Ramakrishna Math Madurai, in collaboration with Ramakrishna Math Chennai, carried out relief operations in flood-affected areas of Tirunelveli and Tuticorin districts of Tamil Nadu. Madurai centre distributed essential items to around 3800 flood-affected families from December 20 to 28.
The items distributed are 15550 kg Rice, 3500 kg Pulses(Dhal), 2000 kg Wheat Flour (Atta), 3250 kg Semolina, 3250 kg Chilli Powder, 1625 kg Sugar, 3010 kg Salt, 3270 litres Cooking Oil, 2000 litres Water, 2000 Candle, 2000 Matchboxes, 325 kg Tamarind Powder, 500 kg Sambar powder, 100 kg Turmeric Powder, 4000 packs Biscuits.
