In January 2024, Ramakrishna Mission, Krishnanagar did the following welfare activities for the students and children in the locality :
Fruits and Sweets Distribution : On 4 January 2024 Krishnanagar ashrama distributed 25 kg fruits and 5 kg sweets (100pcs) among 80 students.
Feeding of Poor Children: On 10 January 2024: 100 mother and children were provided with full meals at noon. Menu for lunch – Rice, Chicken, Dal, Vegetable Soup, Chatni, Payasam, Curd and 2 varieties of sweets.
Toiletry items and snacks Distribution: On 10 January 2024 the ashrama distributed toiletry items and snacks among the 31 poor students (items – Toothpaste, Tooth Brush, Tongue cleaner, Soap Powder, Toilet soap, Nail cutter, Pen, Orange and Cake).
