On December 27th, 2023, a heartwarming Winter Relief and Health Awareness Camp was organized at Bhutadih Jr. High School in Manbazar-II Block, Purulia District. This initiative, focused on the welfare of needy tribal students, brought essential supplies and educational resources to their lives.
The camp emphasized the importance of health and hygiene through informative sessions. To support these efforts, 216 sets of hygienic kits were distributed among the 202 students and children from nearby areas. These kits included essential items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and hair oil, fostering personal hygiene habits.
Recognizing the importance of education, the camp provided each student with two notebooks and a pen. Additionally, a set of books on Ramakrishna Vivekananda Vedanta literature was donated to the school library, enriching their learning resources.
Understanding the harsh winter conditions, the camp provided warm blankets to each of the 202 students, offering much-needed relief from the cold.
The camp concluded with a sense of satisfaction among students, teachers, and organizers. This initiative not only addressed immediate needs but also empowered young minds through educational tools, fostering a healthier and brighter future for the community.
