Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi, Ranchi conducted a two-day natural farming training program for farmers in Ranchi district under the Natural Farming Extension Scheme. A total of 418 farmers from 15 villages were trained in different phases between March 1 and March 29.
The training program aimed to educate farmers about natural farming techniques, reduce agricultural costs, conserve soil and environment, and increase farm produce value to improve their income.
Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary of Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra, emphasized the importance of natural farming for healthy soil, crops, and society.
The training program was conducted by ICAR and sponsored by ATARI, Patna Zone 4. Senior scientists from ICAR, including Dr. A. K. Singh, Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. R. K. Singh, E. O. P. Sharma, and Deepak Pahan, were present during the program.
