Ramakrishna Vedanta Ashrama, Sao Paulo, Brazil celebrated its Silver Jubilee to mark 25 years of its affiliation with the Ramakrishna Order as the first center in Brazil.
The center organized a two-day program on April 6 and 7, 2024, as part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations, with the presence of the Ambassador of India to Brazil Mr. Suresh Reddy and several distinguished personalities.
On Saturday, 6th April 2024, Sri Ramakrishna puja was held in the Ashrama with devotional singing, readings, offerings and pushpanjali in the morning session. The rest of the sessions on 6th & 7th were held in a big rented auditorium nearby Ashrama.
The program included Offering of flowers, Vedic Chanting, Devotional singing, Public lecturers, Question and answer sessions and Cultural programmes.
On Sunday, 7th April morning, the proceeding started with a short video on the late Revered Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj (who visited Brazil in 2002) followed by a one minute silent prayer.
A little over 300 devotees & friends actively participated.
