184 Children Participate in Enlightening Program
Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram held a successful summer camp for school students from April 25th to May 19th. The camp attracted 184 enthusiastic participants.
Exploring Values and Creativity
The program offered a unique blend of spiritual and creative activities. Children learned Vedic chanting, guided meditation, Bhajans (devotional songs), and the Bhagavad Gita. They also practiced Yoga asanas (postures) for physical well-being.
The camp nurtured creativity through music, drawing, and craft sessions. Moral education was interwoven through storytelling and inspiring quotes by Swami Vivekananda.
Engaging Activities and Celebration
A nourishing breakfast fueled the children’s daily activities. A special highlight was the Vidyarthi Homa (ritual) performed on May 3rd.
The camp culminated in a vibrant cultural program on May 19th. Students proudly showcased their learnings through Vedic chanting, Gita chanting, devotional singing, Yoga demonstrations, storytelling, and recitations of Swami Vivekananda’s quotes. Over 250 parents attended this program, celebrating their children’s achievements.
Recognition and Gratitude
Participation certificates and books were distributed to students, volunteers, teachers, and parents as a token of appreciation. A delicious prasadam was served to everyone, marking the successful closure of the summer camp.
