Ramakrishna Math, Kolhapur Hosts Uplifting Spiritual Retreat
On June 16th, 2024, Ramakrishna Math, Kolhapur, organized a rejuvenating half-day spiritual retreat at its main center in Kalamba village. The retreat offered a comprehensive experience for the approximately 250 devotees who attended from Kolhapur and nearby areas.
The program commenced with a puja (worship ceremony) dedicated to Bhagwan Shri Ramakrishna. This was followed by a combination of chanting, soulful bhajans (devotional songs), and energetic sankirtans (group chanting). A final, inspiring talk rounded out the enriching experience.
In the spirit of community and fellowship, devotees were served a delicious khichudi prasadam (blessed food offering).
Enhanced Visibility: New Signage at Main and City Centers
In a separate initiative, Ramakrishna Math, Kolhapur, has taken steps to improve visibility by erecting boards depicting “Ramakrishna Math” at both the main center and the city center. This will undoubtedly help raise awareness of the Math’s presence and activities in the community.
