Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, successfully held a two-day camp for 100 college boys on July 13th and 14th.
The camp aimed to ignite the spirit of service and leadership in young minds through a dynamic program:
- Inspiring Talks: Esteemed speakers like Swami Ramakrishnananda (Chinmaya Mission), Dr. Satya Kumar, Teacher Sri Priya, Sri Krishna Jagannathan ji, and Swami Vimurtananda delivered motivational talks.
- Interactive Activities: Focused group discussions, brief talks by the youth themselves, and a quiz on Swami Vivekananda’s life fostered active participation and learning.
- Spiritual and Cultural Immersion: Devotional and patriotic songs by Swami Matrusevananda, guided meditation sessions, yoga exercises, and visits to traditional temples enriched the experience.
- Service and Dedication: The camp instilled the value of service through training in food service and a heartfelt floral tribute to Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.
- Mementos and Inspiration: Each participant received a participation certificate, a laminated picture of Swami Vivekananda, and three inspiring books to carry the spirit of the camp forward.
