Successful Blood Donation Drive in Collaboration with Burdwan Blood Bank
On June 30th, 2024, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Bardhaman partnered with the Burdwan Blood Bank to hold a blood donation camp. The event proved to be a great success, with a remarkable turnout from the young people of Burdwan and surrounding areas. Their enthusiastic participation resulted in the collection of a significant amount of blood – 68 units in total – which will undoubtedly help those in need.
Encouraging Youths Through Yogasanam and Geeta Chanting Competitions
The Ashrama also organized a day filled with activities designed to inspire and encourage the young minds of Bardhaman. This included a Yogasanam Competition, promoting physical well-being, and a Geeta Chanting Competition, fostering spiritual growth among the participants.
Recognition and Encouragement for Top Performers
The top three winners in each competition (Yogasanam and Geeta Chanting) were presented with special tokens of appreciation. These included a memento, a photo of Swami Vivekananda, and Swamiji’s books. This served as a way to acknowledge their outstanding performances and further motivate the young participants.
