Ramakrishna Mission, Indore, has initiated a relief service for tribal children in the remote Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh. In the first phase on July 17, 2024, 177 children from Kotbandhani village were provided with T-shirts and track pants. Kotbandhani, situated along the Narmada River in the “Shulpani Jhadi” region, is known for its inaccessibility.
The mission continued its efforts on July 24, 2024, distributing clothes and sweets to 188 children from 60 families in Bhadal village, another remote tribal area near the Narmada River.
