To commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago Addresses, the Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram organized a series of values education programs in various educational institutions from September 11 to 27, 2024.
On September 27, to mark the conclusion of the Chicago Addresses, a youth convention was held at the Math campus. Renowned spiritual leaders, including Swami Sashikantananda, Swami Parijneyananda, Swami Sevayananda, and Sri Amirapu Natarajan, addressed over 400 college students. Swami Vivekananda’s literature was distributed to all participants, and laminated photos were presented to six colleges.
In the evening, a motivational program was conducted at the Rajamahendravaram Central Jail. Swami Vivekananda’s literature and fruits were distributed to 1500 prisoners, and laminated photos were displayed in the jail. The program was attended by Swamis and the Deputy Superintendent of Jail.
Throughout the commemoration, Swami Vivekananda’s books were widely distributed to participants and prisoners alike.
