Ramakrishna Mission, Dibrugarh observed Matri-Puja on Mahalaya, October 2, 2024. Forty-one widow-mothers, supported by the Poor Widow Welfare Service in Dibrugarh, were honored after the karpura-aratrikam of the Divine Mother. Each widow-mother received a winter relief package, including a blanket and jacket, in addition to their monthly ration and monetary assistance.
A noon-prasada was served to all the widow-mothers, their families, and the attending volunteers and devotees, totaling approximately 70 people.
