Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, has launched Nachiketa Lab, a pioneering initiative designed to foster learning and personal growth among young boys in grades 7 to 9. This informal learning space focuses on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), while also emphasizing the importance of community engagement and spiritual development.
The lab encourages students to participate in various community-based activities at the Math, promoting their personal well-being and social responsibility. College students and professionals generously volunteer their time as mentors to guide and support the young learners.
Nachiketa Lab was formally inaugurated by Swami Satyajnanananda, Adhyaksha of Chennai Math, on the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja (during Navaratri) on October 12, 2024. This innovative initiative is poised to make a significant impact on the educational landscape and inspire the next generation of innovators.
