Ramakrishna Mission Calcutta Students’ Home, Belgharia, Kolkata, initiated a survey in North 24-Parganas district to assess the impact of recent events. The survey revealed a dire and dangerous situation in Charghat, Machlandapur, and Dakshin Chatra.
On October 15, 2024, the Students’ Home distributed Relief Materials among 721 families of Bethpul South, Bethpul North, Shaktinagar, Railpar, Bokultala of Machhlandapur; Salua of Charghat; Papila, Potapara, Kotalber of Dakshin Chatra area of North 24 -Parganas.
On October 14, 2024, the Students’ Home distributed relief materials to 844 families in Patuya, Laskarpota, Molladanga, Mollapara, Bayenpara, Kaharpara, Mathpara, and Daspara of Charghat. Additionally, 435 families in Ghoshpur, Dakshin Chatra, Uttar Chatra, and Majher Hati of Chatra received relief supplies.
