Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, organized several welfare activities during the month of October, 2024, to celebrate the festival of Diwali.
- Senior Citizen Outreach: On October 27th, the Math distributed new clothes to 100 senior citizens residing in the Manojipatti area of Thanjavur. Central Government Advocate P. R. Gopinathan graced the occasion with his presence and delivered a felicitation address.
- Child Welfare Initiatives: As part of its ongoing commitment to rural education and cultural development, the Math organized a Diwali celebration for children in the Thiruthuraipoondi region on October 29th. The event included the distribution of clothes, crackers, and gifts to brighten the festive season for these young learners.
