Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (EMRS), Jhargram, emerged as the champions in the Inter-EMRS State Level Sports Meet held on November 26, 2024, at the SAI Complex, Kolkata. The school won a total of 34 medals, including 19 Gold, 7 Silver, and 8 Bronze, across 40 events in the U-14 and U-19 Boys and Girls categories. Notably, the U-19 Girls team clinched the championship in both Kho-Kho and Kabaddi. Sri Bulu Chik Barik, Hon’ble Minister of State with Independent Charge, Tribal Development Department, and Commissioner of BCW & TD, along with other officials, presented the awards.
The winners from the school will represent West Bengal at the All EMRS National Sports Meet in Chhattisgarh in December 2024.
