On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, celebrated Vishwa Divyang Diwas—the International Day of Persons with Special Abilities.
During the event, 54 divyang students from the Red Cross Society of Jammu were honored by the Ramakrishna Mission Medical Center.
Key highlights of the program included:
- Free health examinations conducted by the Mission’s physicians for all participating students.
- Distribution of water bottles, compass boxes with accessories, inspirational books by Swami Vivekananda, and refreshments.
- Motivational messages encouraging students to recognize their unique talents and face life’s challenges with positivity and determination.
The initiative aimed to inspire and support the divyang community in leading empowered and fulfilling lives.
