Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady, organized various competitions on January 6 and 7, 2025, as part of the National Youth Day Celebration 2025. These events aimed to inspire and engage the youth, featuring a quiz on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, along with elocution, storytelling, and drawing competitions for students from schools, colleges, and universities.
The competitions were inaugurated by Swami Srividyananda, Adhyaksha of the Ashrama, who encouraged participants to explore Swami Vivekananda’s teachings. He highlighted Swamiji’s role as a youth icon, symbolizing positivity and boundless energy, and urged students to understand and apply his profound messages for personal and societal growth.
A total of 48 institutions participated, with 348 students taking part in the competitions. Cash prizes and certificates will be awarded to the winners on January 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM during a public meeting at the Agamananda Open Auditorium, Brahmanandodayam Higher School, Kalady.
