Ramakrishna Math, Adipur, celebrated National Youth Day on January 12, 2025, with a series of events.
Recitation Competition: A Recitation Competition was organized for students from schools and high schools in Adipur and Gandhidham. Held on January 12th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Math, the competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 250 students.
Garlanding Ceremony: A solemn ceremony was held at Anjar to garland the statue of Swami Vivekananda. Swami Mantreshananda and devotees participated in this act of reverence.
Cycle Rally: A vibrant Cycle Rally, organized by the Doctor Association of Gandhidham, commenced in Gandhidham and culminated at Ramakrishna Math, Adipur, at 7:30 AM. 150 participants joined the rally. To commemorate their participation, each cyclist received a small booklet. Furthermore, Dr. Jignesh Mehta generously sponsored books worth approximately Rs. 9,500 for distribution among interested participants.
School Lectures: Swami Mantreshananda and Swami Alipteshananda delivered inspiring lectures to students from five schools: Rabari Hostel, Anjar; DVS High School, Anjar; Twinkle Star School, Adipur; and Ramakrishna Sharada Sevashram, Anjar. A total of 1000 students benefited from these insightful sessions.
Road Naming Ceremony: On January 11, 2025, the road in front of Ramakrishna Math, Adipur, was officially named “Swami Vivekananda Marg” by the Corporation of Adipur-Gandhidham. The inauguration ceremony, held at 11:30 AM, was graced by Smt. Maltiben Maheshwari, MLA of Gandhidham, and other dignitaries.
Swami Vivekananda Quiz Competition: The previous day, on January 11, 2025, Ramakrishna Math, Adipur, hosted a Swami Vivekananda Quiz Competition at the Conference Hall of Tolani Commerce College, Adipur. 110 students from Tolani Vidya Mandir, Adipur, participated in the intellectually stimulating event.
