Ramakrishna Math, Rajamahendravaram, observed National Youth Day with a series of events.
Youth Conventions: On January 10th and 11th, the center conducted youth conventions at the Government Arts College, Rajamahendravaram, and the Math auditorium respectively. Approximately 400 students actively participated in these conventions. Swami Vivekananda’s literature was distributed to all attendees, and each participating institution received a laminated photograph of Swami Vivekananda.
Vivekananda Shobha Yatra: On January 12th, a vibrant “Vivekananda Shobha Yatra” was organized, commencing from the Ramakrishna Math and culminating at Vivekananda Circle.
Tribute at Kambala Tank: At Kambala Tank, monks and dignitaries paid their respects by garlanding the statue of Swami Vivekananda.
Cultural and Spiritual Activities: The event featured the enthusiastic recitation of the ‘Swadeshi Mantra’ and inspiring quotes from Swami Vivekananda by the youth. Soulful bhajans were sung, followed by an insightful talk on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
