National Youth Day was celebrated with reverence at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Porbandar, on January 12, 2025.
The day commenced with a solemn ceremony where Ashram inmates offered garlands to the statue of Swami Vivekananda within the Ashram premises.
A prize distribution ceremony followed, honoring the winners of various competitions held in connection with National Youth Day. These competitions included elocution, speech, essay writing, and a “Vichar Prachar Pariksha” focusing on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
A total of 582 students registered for the competitions, with 541 students actively participating. 88 meritorious students were awarded prizes for their outstanding performance.
Shri Rajeshbhai Kanamiya, Police Inspector, Kamala Bagh PS, Porbandar, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
