The 41st National Youth Day was observed with due solemnity at Ramakrishna Mission, Davanagere, on January 12, 2025.
The celebrations commenced with a dynamic 5K Marathon titled “Run Young India” at 6:30 AM, attracting enthusiastic participation from 130 runners. Following this, a vibrant procession commenced at 9:00 AM, featuring 36 students dressed in attire reminiscent of Swami Vivekananda.
The main event unfolded within the Ashram premises, featuring insightful speeches by esteemed guests and students. The program also included a significant event: the awarding of scholarships to deserving meritorious students. Additionally, children who participated in the fancy dress competition were honored for their creative efforts.
The program concluded on a high note with the collective recitation of the “Swadeshi Mantra” and the singing of the National Anthem. A delicious cooked Prasad was served to all devotees, participants, and students.
