Ramakrishna Mission Dhaleshwar celebrated the 41st National Youth Day with great enthusiasm by organizing a Youth Convention on January 12, 2025, which saw the participation of over 250 students. The event was addressed by various Swamijis and was presided over by Sri S.C. Das, a retired judge.
As part of the celebrations, an essay competition was conducted, drawing enthusiastic participation from 150 school students. Prizes were awarded to the winners on the same day, acknowledging their talent and dedication.
In addition to the convention, five youth meetings were held on January 12th and 13th at prominent locations, including schools and a college in Agartala. The meetings were addressed by Swami Amartyananda, Swami Susantananda, Swami Divyarasananda, and Swami Bhaktiprabhananda, who spoke on the profound significance of National Youth Day and Swami Vivekananda’s ideals. A total of 2,000 participants attended these enriching sessions.
The event successfully engaged the youth in reflecting on Swami Vivekananda’s teachings, inspiring them to contribute positively to society.
