Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Tamluk organized a seminar on 12 January 2025 at 8:30 a.m., which saw enthusiastic participation from about 400 attendees, including 300 students representing 20 institutions.
The programme commenced with an opening song, setting a harmonious tone for the event. Swami Shrutisarananda, Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Tamluk, presided over the seminar. Swami Vedanisthananda Maharaj of the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture and Sri Somnath Das, Headmaster of Sofiyabad High School, Contai, spoke on Swami Vivekananda’s enduring influence. They encouraged students to shape their lives inspired by his teachings and ideals.
The event featured devotional songs and recitations performed by students from the participating institutions, adding to the spiritual and cultural essence of the seminar.
The programme concluded with a closing song, marking a fitting end to the inspirational gathering. All attendees were provided with packed refreshments and a book titled Swami Shisya Sambad as a token of appreciation.
