Ramakrishna Math, Ahmedabad, celebrated the 41st National Youth Day and the 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda with due solemnity on January 12, 2025.
In collaboration with Bharat Mata Mandir, Prathamik Shikshak Sangh of Sanand, and Swami Vivekananda Seva Samiti, Bopal-Karnavati, the Math organized a diverse range of activities for the youth. These included Elocution, Essay Writing, Drawing Competitions, a “Mini Akhyan” (short play) based on Swami Vivekananda’s life, “Veshabhusha” (costume competition), Mono Acting, Kabaddi sports, and the Pujan (worship) of Bharat Mata and Swami Vivekananda.
A total of 28,000 students and 300 teachers from 109 educational institutions enthusiastically participated in these events.
The celebration culminated in a prize distribution ceremony. All participating children were presented with books and photographs of Swami Vivekananda as a token of appreciation for their participation.
