National Youth Day 2025: Bolpur

Ramakrishna Math, Bolpur, West Bengal

The National Youth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur at Ramakrishna Math, Bolpur. The day began with a vibrant procession in the morning, featuring students from our Primary School and six other local schools. The procession, which commenced at 7:30 a.m., was led by the Band troupe of the NCC unit from Bolpur High School. A beautifully decorated tableau with a cutout of Swami Vivekananda was the highlight of the procession. Over 800 participants, including members of the local Sarada Pathachakra, took part in the event. The procession concluded at the Math around 9:00 a.m., where tiffin packets were distributed to all participants.

In the afternoon, a Youth Convention was held from 3:00 p.m., attended by 350 delegates from local schools, colleges, and universities. Due to space constraints, participation was limited to 15 representatives per institution. The event featured inspiring speeches by Sri Jiban Bandopadhyay, the Guest-in-Chief, along with Swami Buddhishanandaji and other youth volunteers. Each participant received a small gift consisting of books by Swami Vivekananda. The convention concluded with the distribution of tiffin packets to all attendees.
