The Youth Cell of Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar, Agartala, successfully organized a Youth Conclave on Personality Development on 4th January 2025. The event was held at the Swami Bhuteshananda Seminar Hall of the Vidyalaya building.
The conclave witnessed the participation of enthusiastic youth who were eager to explore avenues for personal growth. Eminent monks of the Ramakrishna Order graced the occasion with their insightful discourses. Swami Shubhakarananda, Swami Mahaprajnananda, and Swami Buddhirupananda addressed the gathering, covering diverse aspects of self-development, including:
- Importance of Self-Discipline and Self-Control: The monks emphasized the significance of cultivating self-discipline as a cornerstone for personal and spiritual growth. They highlighted practical techniques for overcoming distractions and cultivating inner peace.
- The Power of Sacrifice and Service: The monks underscored the profound impact of selfless service (seva) on personal transformation. They emphasized the importance of dedicating oneself to the welfare of others and finding joy in serving humanity.
- Developing a Positive Mindset: The monks guided the youth on cultivating a positive and optimistic outlook. They discussed the importance of cultivating gratitude, overcoming negative thoughts, and developing a strong sense of purpose.
The valedictory address was delivered by Swami Bodhasarananda, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. He blessed the youth and encouraged them to apply the insights gained from the conclave in their daily lives.
