Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Vrindavan celebrated National Youth Day on January 12, 2025, with great enthusiasm. The program commenced at 3:40 PM with a small procession within the campus, involving monastic brothers, GAP (Gadadhar Abhudaya Prakalpa) and nursing school teachers, along with students.
Following the procession, a meeting was organized at 4:00 PM at the Swami Vivekananda Mandapam, located near the main entrance of the Sevashrama. The event saw active participation from monastic brothers, students, and teachers from the GAP units and Nursing School.
The meeting began with discussions highlighting the significance of National Youth Day and sharing Swami Vivekananda’s key teachings. The program also featured poem recitations, patriotic songs, and bhajans dedicated to Swamiji. A Sanskrit group song was performed, and Swami Vivekananda’s Swadesh Mantra was recited. Adding to the celebrations, GAP students staged a short drama depicting an inspiring incident from Swami Vivekananda’s life, showcasing his deep love and commitment to the people of India.
The event witnessed a total attendance of approximately 450 individuals, including nearly 310 students from the GAP units and Nursing School, while the remaining 140 comprised teachers, monastic brothers, doctors, and other staff members. The program concluded with the National Anthem, the distribution of gifts to students and some staff members, and refreshments for all attendees.
