Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Katihar, celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2025 with enthusiasm and reverence to commemorate the 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
Key Activities:
- School Program: A special program was organized at the Ashrama School. The event began with the ceremonial garlanding of the statue of Swami Vivekananda. Students and teachers delivered inspiring speeches on Swamiji’s life, teachings, and their relevance in the contemporary world. A vibrant cultural program showcasing the talents of the students followed. Monks of the Ashrama addressed the gathering, imparting valuable insights into Swamiji’s ideals. Approximately 300 students, teachers, and guardians attended the program.
- Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa (GAP): In three units of the GAP program located in different localities, National Youth Day was celebrated with fervor. Each unit organized a program featuring the ceremonial garlanding of Swami Vivekananda’s photograph, followed by engaging cultural performances by children. A total of 150 children participated in these celebrations.
