Ramakrishna Mission, Malliankaranai, observed National Youth Day on 12th January 2024 with a focus on commemorating the 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
Key Activities:
- Procession and Garland Offering: A procession was organized with the hostel students to two designated locations. At each location, the students paid homage to Swami Vivekananda by garlanding his statue and delivering short talks on the significance of National Youth Day and the importance of his teachings.
- Competitions: To further engage the youth, the Ashrama organized competitions in essay writing and elocution on Swami Vivekananda’s life and teachings. The results of these competitions will be announced and prizes distributed on 24th January 2025.
