Ramakrishna Mission Boys’ Home, Rahara, conducted extensive distribution drives in December 2024 to support underprivileged communities. Winter and distress relief materials, including blankets, sarees, mosquito nets, and salwar-kurtis for girls, were distributed among the poor and needy in various villages across the blocks of Hasnabad, Gosaba, Chakdaha, Kalyani, Ranaghat-II, Barrackpore-II, and others, spanning the districts of North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Nadia, Howrah, and more.
The relief efforts, carried out between 23rd December 2024 and 19th January 2025, reached a total of 2,523 families, comprising 7,568 adults and 3,253 minors, benefiting a total of 10,821 individuals.
