Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal, in association with Sankara Eye Hospital, Pammal, Chennai, conducted an eye screening camp on February 2, 2025.
The camp was held in the village of Thiruvanaikoil and benefited residents from surrounding villages, including Veechur, Kavur, Orakattupettai, Kaliapettai, and Kavithangalam. The key outcomes of the camp were:
- Total patients screened: 94 (Male: 28, Female: 66)
- Eye glasses provided: 60 patients (Male: 15, Female: 45)
- Patients referred for cataract surgery: 19 (Male: 8, Female: 11)
