Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip organized an excursion on 16th February 2025, with around 150 students and teachers from the Free Coaching Centre, Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa, and Vivekananda Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
As part of the excursion, the group visited three heritage sites:
- Janmasthan Ashrama of Sriman Mahaprabhu
- Sri Sri Jagannath Mandir
- Rishi Aurobindo Ashrama
After exploring the first two historical sites, the students were served breakfast before proceeding to Rishi Aurobindo Ashrama, a serene place adorned with greenery and flower gardens. The Secretary of Rishi Aurobindo Ashrama warmly welcomed the students and shared inspiring stories from Rishi Aurobindo’s life. Additionally, a student and a teacher from Nabadwip Mission spoke about his life and teachings. In the tranquil atmosphere of the ashrama, the students engaged in concentration exercises.
The group then moved to the grounds of a local school on the bank of an old trail of the Ganges River, where they enjoyed various games and relished a delicious meal, making the excursion a memorable and enriching experience.
