The SAIL-KHEL Programme, 2025, was organized at the ITI campus of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol, from March 6th to March 13th, 2025. This program was made possible with financial assistance from SAIL-ISP, Burnpur, and aimed to promote sports activity among the ITI students.
The program included Football, Cricket, and Athletics events. Additionally, the ashrama initiated a 5 km Marathon, titled “Race for World Peace,” for the ITI students of their Institute, with participation from other ITI, Polytechnic, and Degree Colleges of Paschim Bardhaman District.
A Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on March 7th, 2025, to award prizes to the successful competitors of the Marathon and track and field events such as the run, shotput, and discus throw.
Another Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on March 13th, 2025, for the winners and runners-up teams of the Football and Cricket Tournaments at the Ashrama premises. Mr. Vijendra Veer, CGM (Utilities), Mr. Pawan Kumar Singh, AGM (TS-CSR), SAIL-ISP, Burnpur, and other dignitaries were present at these programs.
