Puja Observance:
Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi, celebrated the worship of Sri Sri Annapurna Devi with great devotion from 4th to 6th April 2025. The festivities commenced with traditional rituals like Adhivas and Amantran performed on the eve of the main puja.
Main Puja Day:
On 5th April, Br. Vanichaitannya (Ayan) performed the worship of the Divine Mother under the guidance of Swami Isteshananda. The celebration included special puja, Anna-bhoga, and Homa. As per the tradition of Digboi centre, a special Anna-Kut Yatra was also organized. Anna Prasad was distributed to about 2500 devotees throughout the day.
Conclusion of the Festival:
On the day following Vijaya Dashami, a concluding worship and Dadhikarma were offered to the Mother after Mangal Arati. In the evening, Shanti Jal was sprinkled over devotees, followed by devotional singing of Ramnama-Sankirtana on the occasion of Ram Navami. Around 350 devotees received prasad in-hand.
