Holistic Wellness Camp at Waghbil, Thane
On 20th April 2025, Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sanstha, Thane, in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission Mumbai, organized a Holistic Wellness Camp at Ramakrishna Mandir, Waghbil. The camp focused on lifestyle-based healing, yoga, and free medical consultations. It was inaugurated by Hon. Shri Sanjayji Kelkar, MLA, Thane city, along with revered monks. The camp served over 60 local residents and concluded with the distribution of healthy Prasad. Weekly medical seva services are scheduled to begin from 1st May 2025 under expert guidance.
Nutrition Assistance and Holistic Wellness Workshop for Tuberculosis Patients
A Holistic Wellness Workshop was conducted on 7th April 2025 at Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Khar, Mumbai, focusing on TB prevention, immunity-boosting nutrition, and the importance of physical activity and yoga in the recovery process. Patients and their attendants were educated on key lifestyle practices for wellness. After the session, 50 registered TB patients received nutritional assistance packets.
World TB Day Observance – CME on Tuberculosis
On the occasion of World TB Day, Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Khar West, in collaboration with the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) and the BMC Public Health Department, organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on 12th April 2025. The session featured expert talks on TB diagnosis, management, and preventive strategies and saw the participation of over 50 doctors. Highlights of the program included healthy food options and live YouTube streaming. The event emphasized a holistic, patient-centered approach to TB care.
