Davanagere Ramakrishna Mission organized a seven-day summer camp, “Vasanta Vihara,” for children aged 12 to 15 years, held from 20th April to 27th April 2025.
The camp featured sessions on prayer (Holy Trio Suprabhatam and Bhagavad Gita), bhajans, yoga, traffic awareness, art and craft, and talks on personality development, moral stories, lifestyle and healthy eating, the Indian Army, creative writing, memory improvement, concentration techniques, study methods, and environmental awareness, along with various games.
Competitions were conducted during the camp, and prizes were awarded to the winners. A total of 32 participants registered, with a nominal fee of ₹100 per participant.
The response from both the children and their parents was very positive. Many participants shared that they gained valuable knowledge and skills through the camp, while parents expressed happiness over the noticeable transformation in their children.
By the grace of Thakur-Maa-Swamiji and the dedicated efforts of the volunteers, Vasanta Vihara 2025 was a grand success.
