Annual Action Plan Workshop: Morabadi, Ranchi, May 2025

Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Morabadi, Ranchi, organized a two-day annual action plan workshop for senior scientists of 23 Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) in Jharkhand on May 5, 2025, at its campus in Ranchi.

The workshop was inaugurated with Vedic chanting and lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Dr. Anjani Kumar, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Zone IV, was the chief guest, with key addresses delivered by Dr. A.K. Singh, Principal Scientist; Dr. Anjan Kumar Ojha, Senior Scientist & Head, ICAR-RCER, Ranchi; and Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary of the Ashrama.

Dr. Anjani Kumar guided participants on formulating impactful annual work plans and shared a success story of a tribal farmer supported through a convergence of four KVKs and ATMA under the natural farming initiative. Dr. A.K. Singh and Dr. Ojha addressed practical challenges faced by scientists and emphasized collaborative strategies.

The programme was jointly conducted by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Divyayan Krishi Vigyan Kendra, and ICAR-ATARI, with support from the Mass Media Unit of ICAR.

Senior scientists from all 23 KVKs in Jharkhand attended the workshop, which concluded with fruitful discussions and directives from ICAR headquarters.
