Asansol Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama successfully conducted the Foundation Plaque Laying Ceremony for the extension and upgradation of its existing ITI (Industrial Training Institute) and VTC (Vocational Training Centre) building on 12th May 2025, coinciding with the auspicious birth anniversary of Bhagavan Buddha.
After a brief puja and arati of Sri Sri Thakur, the monks of the Ashrama, along with IISCO officials, ceremoniously placed bricks at the foundation site of the new building. The ceremony was followed by a short meeting with SAIL-ISP personnel at the Sri Ramakrishna Auditorium.
Swami Sarvabhutananda ji, along with Sri Surajit Mishra, ED (Projects); Sri Abhik De, ED (MM); Sri Arup Mukherjee, ED (F&A); and Sri U.P. Singh, ED (P&A) of SAIL-ISP, Burnpur, and other IISCO officials, were present during the event.
Around 370 ITI students, along with devotees and staff, participated in the programme with great enthusiasm. Laddu and juice were served to all attendees.
